Have you secured your ticket for Demo Day 7?

While the Christmas festivities are in full swing, they are not slowing down preparations for our flagship event of the year, CivTech 7 Demo Day.

CivTech will host its annual ‘Demo Day’ online on Wednesday 8 February, streaming live from the Assembly Rooms in Central Edinburgh. Demo Day will give our brilliant Teams and Challenge Sponsors the opportunity to show off all of their hard work and present their ideas in front of senior figures in the public, private and third sectors (This is where 90% of previous Challenge teams have gone on to win further public sector contracts!).

Over the last fifteen weeks we have collaborated with thirteen Public Sector Sponsors to develop exciting, innovative solutions to the thirteen Challenges set out last year

These incredible teams range from small charities, Local Authorities, core Government organisations and fourteen innovative private sector companies from Scotland and beyond.

We are thrilled that they are now ready to present the results of their work, and pitch their products to key stakeholders in the public, private and third sectors, demonstrating their solutions’ potential for wider-scale use and commercialisation.

The products and services developed represent CivTech’s most interesting set of products so far and cover a wide and varied range of areas including climate emergency, biodiversity, care and wellbeing, and energy consumption.

In addition to featuring the challenge sponsors and companies, the event will be opened by Ivan McKee, Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise.

If you are tech innovator, entrepreneur or public servant and want to experience CivTech 7 Demo Day, registration to watch the live-stream is free and you can secure your ticket now via this LINK.

We hope you are able to join us.

The CivTech Team
